This list is far from exhaustive and there are many other options available but this is a minimum starting point. This great operating system comes with all the "free" applications you need - a web browser, presentation, data base, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more (even games). It makes an ideal alternative to Microsoft's offerings.
